Cofounder of this ensemble was Mrs. Zlata Nenadic who had a vision and strong will to gather all youth and direct them towards preservation of Serbian culture.
The primary goal of this ensemble was to help educate the younger members in the Serbian community of their heritage. This was taught in the form of dance, music, songs and poetry.
In the past 34 years of the ensemble hundreds of members have contributed to and benefited from their participation in the ensemble
The ensemble has danced in over on hundred performances in Canada and the USA. These places include; Nanaimo, Hamilton, Prince George, Ferndale, Bellingham and Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego, Chicago.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all individuals and teachers who dedicated their time and work in the past 34 years and helped this true icon of Serbian culture to grow and be a pert of Canadian multicultural mosaic...
